An Example of How YipGives Would Work

A local Cancer Support Group has 1,000 people on their email, Facebook and Twitter lists. They send out notices to their list asking their membership to join YipDeals, choosing the Cancer Group as their preferred charity, and including a link to a great business deal. They ask that those recipients send it to 20 of their local friends and family, this would mean that 20,000 people could see the deal. The chances for improving the number of voucher sales has gone up exponentially and the Cancer Group has a good shot at getting a major contribution from YipGives.

So let’s say that 20,000 people see the deal and there is a 2% redeem rate; that would be 400 deals sold; and let’s say the voucher price is $15; that would bring the local Cancer Group 12% of $6000 or $720. And don’t forget, their members also get a great deal from the vouchers!
